RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD OVERRULING PROTESTS ON
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1028
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 87-1
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
California, that:
WHEREAS, this Council did on June 17, 1987, adopt its
Resolution of Intention No. 1028 to construct public improvements
in and for said City; and
WH~]REAS, on June 17, 1987, this City Council adopted a
resolution appointing time and place of hearing protests in rela-
tion to the proposed improvements and directing notice; and
WHEREAS, notice was giv,:,n of the time and place therein
stated in the manner provided by law, as appears from the certifi-
cates and affidavits on file in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, said matter
the time therein fixed; and
came on regularly for hearing at
WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communi-
cations were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desir-
ing to be heard were fully heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That protests against said improvements were not
signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area of the
lands within the assessment district, or of the area of the lands
within the assessment district assessed for the costs and ex-
penses of said improvements.
2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby,
overruled.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on
