a. Marvin Dean spoke regarding financing of public
facilities.
b. Dave Cross spoke regarding the City Center
Project boundary and gave a brief computer
presentation.
CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Minutes of the regular meeting of July 10, 2000.
b. Payments from July 1, to August 4, 2000 in the
amount of $2,653.91
Motion Mishoe, seconded by Davenport, to
adopt Consent Calendar Items a~ and b.
REPORTS
City Center Ad-Hoc Committee Oral Report
regarding August 10, 2000 meeting.
Executive Director Alan Tandy gave a brief
summary and computer presentation of the
August 10, 2000 City Center Ad-Hoc Committee
meeting.

Presentation by Executive Director Alan Tandy of
appreciation award to Howdy Miller.
Executive Director Alan Tandy expressed
appreciation to Howdy Miller for serving on the
Agency.

Election of Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency to
fill unexpired term of Chairperson.
Motion by Davenport, seconded by Prince, to
close nominations and appoint Thomas
Mishoe as Chairperson.

Olmscheid Development Group.
Motion by Raphael, seconded by Davenport, to

Inc., for redevelopment assistance for
manufacturing facility, property located at 700
South Mount Vernon Avenue.
Motion by Raphael, seconded by Anthony, to
approve the agreement.
AGENCY STATEMENTS
Anthony asked if a written report was available from the
8/10/00 Ad Hoc meeting. Tandy stated no report is
available but tapes and videos of the meeting are,
Davenport thank Executive Director Alan Tandy for
arranging the tour at the Lancaster Baseball Stadium.
