A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF #4~610 1300J ~01
BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF EXCESS
RIGHT-OF-WAY ON PACHECO ROAD AT THE EAST
SIDE OF WIBLE ROAD IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on July 1, 1987, the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public Streets,
Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law," being Chapter 3 of
Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California, passed and adopted its Resolution of Intention No.
1029 declaring its intention to order the vacation of excess
right-of-way on Pacheco Road at the east side of Wible Road in the
City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hear-
ing all persons znterested in or objecting to said proposed
vacation, which said[ hearing was held on July 29, 1987, after
notices were duly published and posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, th. is Council a~ter duly considering the matter,
does hereby find and. resolve as follows:
1. That the vacation of excess right-of-way on Pacheco
Road at the east side of ~ible Road in the City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, more particularly described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, is un-
necessary for present or prospective public street purposes.
2. That the vacation of excess right-of-way on Pacheco
Road at the east side of Wible Road in the City of Bakersfield,
Count of Kern, State of California, be and the same is hereby
closed up, vacated and abandoned for public street purposes, sub-
ject to and in conformity with the following reservations and
exceptions:
Adequate easements shall
for any public utilities
vacated; and
be and hereby are reserved
within the area hereby
~he undedicated portion of the ultimate right-of-way
width of Pacheco Road shall be dedicated by adjacent
propert~ owner(s).
3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested
by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

EXHIBIT "A"
A parcel of land situated in the Southwest Quarter of Section 13 and
Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 30 South, Range 27 East,
M.D.M., City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the East
line of the West 60 feet with the North line of the
South 30 feet of said Section 13, also being a point
on the North right of way line of Pacheco Road;
Thence South 89°19'52" East, along last mentioned
North right of way line, 486.47 feet;
Thence South 82°46'18,, West, 363.49 feet to the
beginning of a 955 foot radius curve concave
Northwesterly;
Thence continuing Southwesterly along said curve
through a central angle of 06o24'45" an arc distance
of 106.88 feet;
Thence North 44°48'41" West, 27.90 feet to a point on
the East line of the West 60 feet of said Section 24;
Thence North 00°35'21" East, along last mentioned
East line 9.12 feet to a point on the South line of
said Section 13;
Thence North 00°35'06" East, along the East line of
the West 60 feet of said Section 13, 30.00 feet to
the point of ~ginning.
EXCEPTING THEreFROM as reservation of easements for
Public Utilities purposes any portion of the above
described par~l falling within the North 10 feet of
the South 21 feet of said Section 13 and the South
10 feet of the North 30 feet of Said Section 24.
