A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT
TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3045, adopted June 4, 1986, pro-
vided that the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Bakersfield
would be composed of seven (7) resident electors appointed by the
Mayor with the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Bylaws of the Redevelopment Agency provides
that the official name of the Agency shall be the "Central
District Development Agency of the City of Bakersfield"; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Bakersfield previously
nominated and the Council approved the appointment of seven mem-
bers; and
WHEREAS, one appointed and approved member, Fred McAtee,
announced that he could not serve due to a legal conflict of
interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the Council
of the City of Bakersfield that the resignation of Fred McAtte to
the Central District Development Agency of the City of Bakersfield
is hereby accepted and the appointment by the Mayor of Wayne
Killmer for a term of three (3) years is hereby approved.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on May 6, 1987 , by
the following vote:
