A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, APPOINTING ENGINEER OF WORK
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 87-2
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Bakers-
field, State of California, that:
WHEREAS, this Council has determined to undertake pro-
ceedings pursuant to Special Assessment and Assessment Bond Acts,
the Charter, and the Municipal Code of the City, for the acquisi-
tion and financing of a public
Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the public
improvement project in the City of
interest and general welfare will
be served by appointing and employing an Engineer of Work for the
preparation and conducting of said proceedings and work in connec-
tion with said improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Public Works Manager of the City of Bakers-
field be, and he is hereby appointed as the Engineer of Work, and
employed to do and perform all engineering work necessary in and
for said proceedings for City of Bakersfield Assessment District
No. 87-2.
2. The Engineer of Work is further authorized to re-
ceive, review, approve and utilize assessment engineering ser-
vices being provided for Assessment District No. 87-2 by Ed
W~lson of Wilson & Associates, such services being included as
part of the cost of acquisition of improvements and advanced by
Tenneco Realty Development Corporation in payment for such
assessment engineering services.
3. That all engineering fees and all other charges of
the Engineer of Work, including but not limited to design engi-
neering, assessment engineering, construction admin}stration,
and appraisal services, be assessed as incidental expenses of
said proceedings.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on May 6, 1987 , by the follow-
ing roll call vote:
