A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENTS
TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3045, adopted June 4, 1986, pro-
vided that the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Bakersfield
would be composed of seven (7) resident electors appointed by the
Mayor with the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Bylaws of the Redevelopment Agency provides
that the official name of the Agency shall be the "Central
District Development Agency of the City of Bakersfield"; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Bakersfield desires
make the appointment pursuant to the procedures established by
Ordinance No. 3045.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the Council
of the City of Bakersfield that the appointments of the Mayor to
the Central District Development Agency of the City of Bakersfield
are hereby approved, with the terms of the office as provided
herein, as follows:
SUSAN M. RICE 4 years
ROBERT D. WATSON 4 years
PHYLLIS PATRICK 3 years
FRED S. MCATEE 3 years
WILLIAM PAYNTER 2 years
MEL RUBIN 2 years
DIANE DUNN 1 year
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council approves as
Chairman the appointment of ROBERT D. WATSON.
