A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD TO
ACCEPT TITLE TO AND CONTROL AND MAINTENANCE OF LOUSTALOT
LANE BETWEEN "H" STREET AND CHESTER AVENUE UPON
RELINQUISHMENT BY THE STATE.
WMBREAS, the State of California is relocating the access control from
the south side of Loustalot Lane between "H" Street and Chester Avenue to the
north side of Loustalot Lane within the same limits; and
WHEREAS, the State of California is proposing to relinquish Loustalot
Lane between "H" Street and Chester Avenue to the City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield, as follows:
1. That the City of Bakersfield is willing to accept title to and
control and maintenance of Loustalot Lane between "H" Street and Chester Avenue
upon relinquishment by the State.
2. That the City of Bakersfield agrees that Loustalot Lane between
"H" Street and Chester Avenue is in a "state of good repair".
3. That the City of Bakersfield is willing to waive the required
90-day written notice of the State of California's intention to relinquish
Loustalot Lane to the City of Bakersfield as stipulated in Section 73 of the
Streets and Highways Code.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted
by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 8th day of April , 1987, by the following vote:
