A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO.
1019 DECLARING THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD'S INTENTION TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS TOGETHER WITH APPURTENANCES
IN A PROPOSED ASSESSMENT DISTRICT PURSUANT TO THE
PROVISIONS OF THE MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT ACT OF
1913; DECLARING THE WORK TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL
OR ORDINARY BENEFIT; DESCRIBING THE DISTRICT TO BE
ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF
(ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 86-5) - (REAL - AKERS -
HARRIS - FAIRVIEW).
that:
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield, California,
Section 12 of Resolution of Intention No. 1019 adopted on February 4,
1987, be hereby amended to read:
"12. Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent the unpaid
assessments, and bear interest at the rate of not to exceed twelve percent (12%)
per annum, will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the Improvement
Act of 1915, Division 10 of the Streets and Highways Code, the last installment
of such bonds shall mature a maximum of nineteen (19) years from the second day of
September next succeeding 12 months from their date.
There shall be included in the total assessment proposed to be levied
herein an incidental expense to cover the estimated cost of preparing, printing,
servicing, and collecting the improvement bonds proposed to be issued to
represent the assessments."

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted
by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 25th day of March, 1987, by the following vote:
