A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
AMENDING SANITARY SEWER PLAN FOR PIERCE ROAD - OAK STREET
PLANNED SANITARY SEWER AREA AND MAKING FINDINGS RELATIVE
THERETO.
WHEREAS, the City Council on May 5, 1983, by Resolution No. 69-83,
adopted a Sanitary Sewer Plan for the Pierce Road - Oak Street Planned Sanitary
Sewer Area, and On August 29, 19874, by Resolution No. 73-84, amended the
Sanitary Sewer Plan for the Pierce Road - Oak Street Planned Sewer Area; and
WHEREAS, the Public works Department of the City has recommended that
the adopted plan for that Sanitary Sewer Area be amended to add facilities, and
this Council hereby finds ~hat it is in the public interest that the adopted
plan be so amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
I. The City Council hereby finds that, as to the Pierce Road - Oak
Street Planned Sanitary Sewer Area, as amended by and described in the amended
plan and map therefor attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,
subdivision and development of property within such area will require
construction of facilities, described in such amended plan, and that the fees
provided in such amended plan are fairly apportioned within such area, either on
the basis of benefits conferred on property proposed for subdivision or on the
need for such facilities created by the proposed subdivision and development of
other property within such area.
2. The Pierce Road - Oak Street Planned Sanitary Sewer Area Plan is
hereby amended to include all territory, facilities, and fees described in the
plan and map therefor attached hereto.

I MEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted
by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 11th day of March, 1987, by the following vote:
