RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD OVERRULING PROTESTS ON
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1019
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 86-5
(REAL - AKERS - HARRIS - FAIRVIEW)
RESOLVED., by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
California, that:
WHEREAS, this Council did on February 4, 1987, adopt
its Resolution of Intention No. 1019 to construct public improve-
ments in and for said City; and
WHEREAS, on February 4, 1987, this City Council adopted
a resolution appointing time and place of hearing protests in
relation to the proposed improvements and directing notice; and
WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein
stated in the manner provided by law, as appears from the certifi-
cates and affidavits on file in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at
the time therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communi-
cations were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desir-
ing to be heard were fully heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That protests against said improvements were not
signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area of the
].ands within the assessment district, or of the area of the lands
within the assessment district assessed for the costs and ex-
penses of said improvements.
