A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING THE OFFICIAL LIST OF
DESIGNATED SPECIAL SPEED ZONES, PURSUANT
TO SECTION 10.24.010 OF THE BAKERSFIELD
MUNICIPAL CODE. (Monitor Street).
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enact a prima facie speed limit
on Monitor Street from White Lane to Pacheco Road within the City of
Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, said prima facie speed limit is enacted pursuant to the pro-
visions of the California Vehicle Code; and
WHEREAS, said prima facie speed limit is being established for a
street in the City of Bakersfield, after a traffic engineering survey was con-
ducted; and
WHEREAS, said prima facie speed limit will be added to the "List of
Speed Zones" for the City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. Under provisions of Section 10.24.010 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Bakersfield, the prima facie speed limit for the following street, or
portion thereof, is hereby determined and declared to be forty miles per hour,
and shall be included in the official City "List of Speed Zones":
MONITOR STREET, WHITE LANE TO PACHECO ROAD

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted
by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on
