HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 149-86RESOLUTION NO. 149-86 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985-86. WHEREAS, Section 7900 of the Government Code, and added by Chapter 220 of the Statutes of 1980, Division 9, provides for the effective and efficient implementation of Article XIIIB of the California Constitution; and WHEREAS, Section 7901 through 7913 of Chapter 1205 pro- vides that each year the governing body of each local jurisdic- tion shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit at a regularly scheduled meeting; and WHEREAS, through inadvertence, the City omitted the adop- tion of the appropriations limit for fiscal year 1985-86; and WHEREAS, any judicial action or challenge for the 1985-86 fiscal year shall be commenced within 45 days of the effective date of this Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield does hereby declare the appropriations limit for fis- cal year 1985-86 as $49,476,347. Documentation used in the determination of the appropriations limit is available to the public at the city Manager's Office, City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California. .......... o0o ...........
