You submitted Request for Deadline Extension for First Quarter Monitoring, Lucky 7." dated
22 December 2004 and prepared on your behalf by HerSchy Environmental, lnc" Bass Lake (HerSchy),
HerSchy requests that the 17 February 2005 deadline for submission of the first quarter 2005
groundwater monitoring report requested by our letter dated 9 December 2004 be extended by two
weeks, HerSchywill install monitoring well MW-3R to replace damaged well MW-3 during the week
of IOta 14 January 2005. ,'HerSchy anticipates that there will not be sufficient time to install, develop,
and sample MW -3R, conduct laboratory sample analysis, receive analytical data, and prepare a report
prior to the deadline, HerSchy can include analytical data from MW-3R in the first quarter 2005
monitoring report if the due date is extended. '
We approve your request for an extension, Submit a report summarizing the first quarter 2005
monitoring event by 17 March 2005,
