ROLLCALL Present: Agency Members, Prince, Davenport, Mishoe, Bentley, Schroeder Absent: Chairperson Cohen, Agency Member Martinez 2, PUBLIC STATEMENTS None. 3. CONSENT CALENDAR a. Minutes of the Special Meeting of October 4, 2004. Approval of department payments from September 24, 2004 to October 28, 2004 in the amount of $2,047,912.84. Kern County Tax Collector - Administrative Fee in the amount of $43,500 for the collection and distribution of Tax Increment Revenues in the Downtown Project Area. Increase in Redevelopment Funds for Fiscal Year 2004-05 for the Transfer to the Educational Revenue Augmentation Fund (ERAF). Agreement with the City of Bakersfield for the purchase of real property located at the northwest corner of Kentucky and King Streets in an amount not to exceed $151,200.00 for the Old Town-Kern Mixed Use Project. Motion by Bentley seconded by Prince to approve Consent Calendar items 3.a. through 3. e. 4. REPORTS AGR RA04-015 DEED 6t60 APPROVED AB COHEN, MARTINEZ None. NEW BUSINESS Resolution Authorizing the Purchase defaulted properties located within Bakersfield Redevelopment Project Area. of five (5) tax- the Southeast Staff comments by Economic and Community Development Director Kunz. Motion by Mishoe, seconded by Schroeder, to authorize purchase of five tax-defaulted properties located within the Southeast Bakersfield Redevelopment Project Area. Resolution establishing the dates of meetings for the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency for the months of January through December 2005. Motion by Schroeder, seconded by Prince, to approve the Resolution. Agreement with the Arts Council of Kern for $30,000 for the design and installation of a public art fixture to be placed in a designated area within the Parkview Cottages. Staff comments by Economic and Community Development Director Kunz. Motion by Prince, seconded by Mishoe, to approve the Agreement. Lease Agreement with Kern Turf Supply, Inc., for rent of Agency owned property located at 708 Kentucky Street and 709 Lake Street. Staff comments by Economic and Community Development Director Kunz. Motion by Schroeder, seconded by Bentley, to approve the Agreement. AGENCY STATEMENTS None. CLOSED SESSION None. 9. WORKSHOP None.
