A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A
50-FOOT PORTION OF DEDICATED VEHICULAR
ACCESS RIGHTS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF WHITE
LANE, WESTERLY OF ASHE ROAD IN THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD.

WHEREAS, on the 13th day of November, 1985, the Council
of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the
"Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law",
being Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, passed and adopted its
Resolution of Intention No. 993 declaring its intention to order
the abandonment of a 50-foot portion of dedicated vehicular
access rights on the south side of White Lane, westerly of Ashe
Road in the City of Bakersfield, California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vaca-

does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That the abandonment of a 50-foot portion of dedi-
cated vehicular access rights on the south side of White Lane,
westerly of Ashe Road in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of California, more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof, is unnecessary for pre-
sent or prospective public street purposes.
2. That the abandonment of a 50-foot portion of dedi-
cated vehicular access rights on the south side of White Lane,
westerly of Ashe Road be and the same is hereby closed up,
vacated and abandoned for public street purposes, subject to and
in conformity with any reservations and exceptions contained in
and contemplated by said Resolution of Intention No. 993.
Reference contemplated by said Resolution of Intention is hereby
made for further particulars.
3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested
by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

BaI~ersfield, County of Kern, State of California, being in Section 16, Township
30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.M., more particularly described as follows:
Refer to the south right of way line of White Lane as shown on Parcel Map No.
6170 filed December 28, 1982, in Book 28 of Parcel Maps st Page 196. Said 50.00
section being on and along said south right of way line, being 25.00 feet on
either side of a point 600.00 feet west of the center line of Ashe Road also
being the east line of said Section 16.
