A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD SETTING DATE AND PLACE OF PUBLIC
HEARING IN MATTER OF PROPOSED CANCELLATION
OF LAND USE CONTRACT UNDER THE WILLIAMSON
ACT, AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO GIVEN NOTICE
IN ACCORD WITH SECTION 51284 OF THE GOVERNMENT
CODE.
WHEREAS, JOHN M. ANTONGIOVANNI and YOLE J. ANTONGIOVANNI,
husband and wife as joint tenants, and J. STANLEY ANTONGIOVANNI
and KATHLEEN E. ANTONGIOVANNI, husband and wife as joint tenants,
collectively, on September 16, 1985, filed with the City of
Bakersfield a petition for cancellation of a Land Use Contract,
which contract was entered into under the Land Conservation Act
of 1965 (Williamson Act), and which land is located in County of
Kern Agricultural Preserve No. 10.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That in accordance with the provisions of the
Williamson Act, a public hearing on the Petition of JOHN M.
ANTONGIOVANNI and YOLE J. ANTONGIOVANNI, husband and wife as
joint tenants, and J. STANLEY ANTONGIOVANNI and KATHLEEN E.
ANTONGIOVANNI, husband and wife as joint tenants, collectively,
is hereby set for Wednesday, the 11th day of December, 1985, at
the hour of 7 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be
heard, at the Council Chambers in City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue,
Bakersfield, California; and
2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of the hearing in accordance with Section 51284 of the
Government Code; and
3. That the notice as aforesaid shall be in substan-
tially the following form:
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
In the Matter of Proposed Cancellation of
Land Use Contract with Respect to Land Under
the Williamson Act.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of
Bakersfield has fixed Wednesday, the 11th day of December, 1985,
at the hour of 7 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be
heard, at the Council Chambers in City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue,
Bakersfield, California, as the time and place for a public hear-
ing on the matter of the petition filed by JOHN M. ANTONGIOVANNI
and YOLE J. ANTONGIOVANNI, husband and wife as joint tenants, and
J. STANLEY ANTONGIOVANNI and KATHLEEN E. ~NTONGIOVANNI, husband
and wife as joint tenants, collectively, for cancellation of a
Land Use Contract with respect to land under such contract, which
contract was entered into between the petitioners and the County
of Kern on February 28, 1969, and recorded in Official Records
in Book No. i at Page 39, Kern County Recorder's Office.
The land for which cancellation is sought consists of
approximately 135.027 acres located in Agricultural Preserve
No. 10 located in the City of Bakersfield since annexation
thereof in July 22, 1985, and more particularly described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution
by such reference as though fully set forth herein.
Said petition is on file with the City Clerk of the City
of Bakersfield at City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield,
California, and may be examined by any interested person during
regular office hours.

EXHIBIT "A"
A parcel of land situated in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of California, being a portion of Section 21, Township 30 South,
Range 27 East, M.D.B.&M., more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Section 21, (Township 30, Range
27) said corner being the "True Point of Beginning";
Thence North 00° 00' 07" West on and along the West line of said
Section 21, a distance of 4,665.00 feet;
Thence North 89° 59' 53" East, 56.109 feet, to the beginning of a non-
tangent curve, concave Northeasterly, having a radius of 5,280.00 feet,
from which point the radius point of said curve bears North 82° 31'
41" East;
Thence Southeasterly, on and along said curve through a central angle
of 69° 23' 01", an arc distance of 6,393.935 feet to the beginning of
a second curve, concave Easterly, having a radius of 5,280 feet, from
which point the radius point of said curve bears North 78° 32' 56"
East;
Thence Southerly, on and along said curve, through a central angle of
02° 39' 03", an arc distance of 244.2833 feet, to a point on the South
line of said Section 21;
Thence North 89° 36' 33" West on and along said South line, a distance
of 1,506.32 feet to the South one quarter corner of said Section 21;
Thence continuing North 89° 36' 33" West on and along said South line,
a distance of 2,638.20 feet, to the Southwest corner of said Section
21, and the True Point of Beginning.
Containing 145.203 gross acres EXCEPTING therefrom those portions
within the road rights-of-way and the Stine Canal.
