A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ADOPTING THE
REVISED DRAINAGE PLAN AND NEW FEE
SCHEDULE FOR THE BRECKENRIDGE
PLANNED DRAINAGE AREA.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution of Intention No. 1386, adopted
June 8, 2005, in the Council chambers in the City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue,
Bakersfield, California, identified the Revision of the Breckenridge Planned Drainage
Area and new fee schedule, and;
WHEREAS, the new project will consist of a pipeline system that will drain
water to central basins, and;
WHEREAS, the new project will improve the efficiency of the storm water
drainage facilities in the benefit area, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the new system is in the best
interest for the health, safety and welfare of the community, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the revised drainage plan and new
fee schedule better represents current needs and costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:

The foregoing recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein
2. The Revised Breckenridge Planned Drainage Area has been
identified as necessary for the removal of surface and storm waters from the local and
neighborhood drainage areas.
3. The Council hereby finds the Revised Breckenridge Planned
Drainage study and fee schedule attached hereto as Exhibit A, as a replacement to the
original Breckenridge Planned Drainage study and fee schedule.
4. The Revised Breckenridge Planned Drainage Area and new fee
schedule are hereby adopted.
