REGULAR MEETING
1. ROLL CALL
Present:
Agency Members, Prince, Davenport, Mishoe,
Martinez, Bentley, Schroeder
Absent:
Agency Chair Cohen
2. PUBLIC STATEMENTS
None.
3. CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Minutes of the April 11 , 2005 meeting for approval.
b. Approval of department payments from April 1, 2005 to
April 28, 2005 in the amount of $286,448.25.
c.
Resolution of the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency to
find that Fiscal Year 2005-06 planning and administrative
costs from the Agency's low and moderate income housing
funds are necessary for the production, improvement or
preservation of low and moderate income housing in the
City of Bakersfield.
Sub-recipient Agreement between the City of Bakersfield
and the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency for the
commitment of $1.135 million HOME Investment
Partnership Funds earmarked for affordable housing in the
Baker Street Mixed Use Project.
Motion by Bentley, seconded by Schroeder, to approve
Consent Calendar items a. through d.

NEW BUSINESS
a. Proposed Budget for the Bakersfield Redevelopment
Agency (RDA) - Fiscal Year 2005-06.
Staff presentation by Economic and Community
Development Director Kunz.
Motion by Prince, seconded by Bentley to authorize
transmittal of the Fiscal Year 2005-2006 RDA budget to City
Council for approval.
7. AGENCY STATEMENTS
Agency member Mishoe compliment staff's efforts regarding
the budget and redevelopment.
Agency member Davenport expressed appreciation to staff for
successful redevelopment projects and use of monies.

10. ADJOURNMENT
Vice-Chairperson Davenport adjourned the meeting at 4:32
p.m.
