ROLL CALL Present: Absent: BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING OF AUGUST 8, 2005 Council Chambers, City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue Regular Meeting - 4:00 p.m. Agency Members, Prince, Davenport (seated at 4:28 p.m.), Mishoe, Martinez, Bentley, \ Agency Members Cohen, Schroeder 2. PUBLIC STATEMENTS None. 3. CONSENT CALENDAR a. Minutes of the July 11, 2005 meeting for approval. b. Approval of department payments from July 1, 2005 to July 28, 2005 in the amount of $21,128.43. Staff recommends approval of Consent Calendar items a. andb. Motion by Bentley, seconded by Prince, to approve Consent Calendar items a. and b. 4. REPORTS None. 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS None. 6. NEW BUSINESS Exclusive Negotiation Agreement between the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency and The Village at Baker Street LLC, for the construction of the Baker Street Development Project. a. NEW BUSINESS Item 6.a. continued EDCD Director Kunz noted the correct name of the company is Baker Street Village LLC and made staff comments. Michael Keele, Project Manager Triumph Companies and President of Southwest Consulting, and Mark Daghei Architect, made a presentation and made comments. Motion by Prince, seconded by Martinez, to approve the Agreement. 7. AGENCY STATEMENTS None. 8. CLOSED SESSION a. Conference with Real Property Negotiators pursuant to Government Code section 54956.8 Property: Mt. Vernon Avenue and Panama Lane, Bakersfield, California Agency Negotiators: Real Property Manager Donald Anderson Negotiating Parties: City of Bakersfield - Owner Under Negotiation: Price and terms of sale Motion by Mishoe, seconded by Bentley, to adjourn to Cfosed Session at 4:30 p.m. Vice-Chairperson Davenport reconvened the meeting at 5:14 p.m. 9.
