A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR FISCAL
YEAR ]984-85.
WHEREAS, Section 7900 of the Government Code, and added
by Chapter 220 of the Statutes of 1980, Division 9, provides for
the effective and efficient implementation of Article XIIIB of
the California Constitution; and
WHEREAS, Section 7901 through 7913 of Chapter 1205
provides that each year the governing body of each local juris-
diction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit
at a regularly scheduled meeting; and
WHEREAS, any judicial action or challenge for the
1984-85 fiscal year shall be commenced within 45 days of the
effective date of this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield does hereby set the appropriations limit for fiscal
year 1984-85 as $44,718,839. Documentation used in the determina-
tioD of the appropriations limit is available to the public at
the City Manager's Office, City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue,
Bakersfield, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
regular meeting thereof held on the 13th day of February, 1985,
by the following vote:
