AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER
17.18, SECTION 17.18.010 AND 17.18.030
OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO R-4 MULTIPLE FAMILY
DWELLING ZONE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 17.18 is hereby amended to read as follows:
HIGH DENSITY MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING ZONE
SECTION 2.
Section 17.18.010 is hereby amended to read as follows:
17.18.010 - Generally.
The restriction set out in this chapter shall apply in the R-4 high density multiple-
family dwelling zone unless otherwise provided in this title.
SECTION 3.
Section 17.18.030 is hereby amended to read as follows:
17.18.030 - Building height.
Building heights in an R-4 zone shall not exceed sixty-five feet.
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the provIsions of the
Bakersfield Municipal Code and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after
the date of its passage.
