PUBLIC STATEMENTS None. 3. CONSENT CALENDAR a. Minutes of the August 8, 2005 meeting for approval. b. Approval of department payments from July 29, 2005 to September 1, 2005 in the amount of $23,891.21. Agreement between the Redevelopment Agency, Bakersfield College Foundation, and the Kern Community College District to sell three tax defaulted vacant lots located at 339 South Brown Street, 301 Owens Street and 124 Hayes Street for $3.00 for the purpose of constructing affordable single-family homes. c. Motion by Davenport, seconded by Bentley, to approve Consent Calendar items a. through c. 4. REPORTS 5. Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Bakersfield and the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency for the sale of 1,280 surplus acres of City property commonly known as the 5,000 acre Southeast Farm. City Manager Tandy made the staff presentation. Motion by Bentley, seconded by Scroeder, to approved the Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency and the City, send a letter to Council requesting clarification regarding allocation of possible proceeds from sale and the Agency's role therein, and that the purchase agreement contain a non refundable deposit. 7. AGENCY STATEMENTS None. 8. CLOSED SESSION None. 9. WORKSHOP None. 10.
