Minutes of the Special Meeting of the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, California, held in the Council Chambers of
City Hall at 12:30 p.m., April 30, 1987.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Payne.
The City Clerk called the roll as follows:
Present:
Mayor Payne.
Councilmembers Childs, Christensen (seated
at 12:48 p.m.), Smith,
Moore, Dickerson
Absent: Councilmembers Ratty, Salvaggio
CLOSED SESSION
Upon a motion by Councilmember Childs, the Council re-
cessed to a Closed Session at 12:33 p.m. for the purpose of an
update on Moreland vs. the City of Bakersfield pursuant to Govern-
ment Code Section 54956.9A; and for evaluating the performance of
the City Attorney pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.
The meeting reconvened at 1:48 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Coun-
cil, upon a motion by Councilmember Childs, the meeting adjourned
at 1:50 p.m.
