NEW SERIES.
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF THAT
CERTAIN STREET NAMED CENTRAL AVENUE TO T~E
NAME OF .EAST TRUXTUN AVENUE.
BE IT ORDAINED"BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
That the name of that certain street,heretofore named and
known as Central Avenue, extending Easterly/and Westerly from the.
East line of iInion Avenue to..the East boundary line of the City of
Bakersfield[iii~.that portion of the said City of Bakersfield
formerly. the Town of Kern, be and the same is hereby changed to
the name of East Truxtun Avenue, and said street shall hereafter
be known and designated as East Truxtun Avenue.
I hereby certify that. the foregoing ordinance was.-.passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the
