A MISDF~IEANOR ~3D PROVIDING 'A PENALTY FOR ~?HE VIOLATION THEREQF.
BE iT 0RDAINED BY THE COL~qCILTOF THE CITY OF B~XERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to skate alon~ or upon
any sidewalk or to use skates of any kind in skating along or upon
any sidewalk within the congested district of the City of Bakers-
field.
SECTION 2. By congested district is meant all that certain territory
described-in Sub-division (h) of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 24 New
... Series, passed and adopted December, 29th, 1919.
SEOTIONS. Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance
'shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction therefor sh~ll
be punishable by a fine not exceeding Twenty-five ($2~.00) Dollars
or by imprisonment in the County Jail of the County of Kern for
term not exceeding five (~) days or by-both such fine and imprison-
ment.
