BE' IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF B~XERSFI~D,
as follows:
SECT I ON 1
That subdivision (b) of section 27 of Ordinance No. 36 New
~ SSries, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING ~;D EPOSING NUNICIP'AL LI-
~ENSES: PY~SCRIBING HOW AND BY WHON LICENSES SHALL BE OBTAINED: I~XING
THE VIOLATION HEREOF A MISDEmeANOR AND PRESCRIBING A PEN~LTY THEREFOR,
AND REPEALINI-~ ORDINANCES NOS. 327, 332 snd No. 2 NEW SERIES," be stud the
same is hereby repealed.
SECT I ON 2
That section 28 of 0rdinsnce No. 36 New Series, entitled "AN
ORDINANCE REGULATING AND IMPO,BING MUNICIPAL LICENSES: PRESCRIBING HOW
AND BY WHON LICENSES SHALL BF OBTAI;~D: ~f~XING THE VIOLATION HEEOF A
!,,~ISD~',~EANOR AND PESCRIBING A PEN~JI[~- THEEFOR, ~'~D REPE~LING 0RDIN~3CES
N0S. 327, 332 and No. 2 NEW SERIES," be and the same is hereby s/r~ended
to read as follows:
SECTION 28. For the business of keeping, maintainir~-~ or furnishing
steam, hs~ms~, turkish or~o{her public baths not conducted in connectiol~
with and as a part of any other business paying a".license fee under
the provisions of said 0rdinance No. 36, New Series or under any 0rdi'-
nance ~nend~tory thereof or supplemental thereto, the s~m of Fifteen
($15.00) Dollars per quarter.
I HERFBY CERTI~ that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by 'the Co~cil of the City of Bakersfield, on the _l~.ay of
