BE IT 0RDAIX~D BY THE COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF B~X.~RSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1. That section 6 of Ordinance No. 393. entitled. "AN 0RDIN~NCE.
REGULATING THE ACCUMULATION, RF2-~IOVAL AND DISPOSAL OR RUBBISH ~1D
ST~3LE IifJ~NID.{E; I~XING THE VIOLATION ]~ MISDN~EANOR AND PROVIDING A
PEN~i'Ff THEREFORE," be and. the same is hereby amended to read. as
follows':
SECTION 6. No rubbish shall be removed and carried. on and along
the streets and alleys of said City of Bakersfield, except the stone
be carried, conveyed or h~ed in wsgons of sufficient size to be
divided and divided into two compartments, in one of which shall be
deposited all papers, pasteboards, books and. msg-azines collected by
said Rubbish Collector to be delivered. at the City Dump Yards, Said
wagon shall be made dust proof to the extent that it is impossible
for any of the contents of such Wagon to sift through or fall out
upon said streets rand alleys. The contents of such wag.~ons must be
further protected so as to prev.ent the same from bein~ blown or scat-
tered. upon the streets, alleys, and adjacent lands.
