FIXING A PENALTY T EREFOR.
THE VIOLATION HEREOF A MISD~iEANOR AND
BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFI~.D,
as follows:
SECTION 1,
It shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle Or.to
leave any vehicle or to cause any vehicle to ~e parked or left in
front of any sidewalk elevator or chute or within a space of five feet
on either side of any such sidewalk elevator or chute in the City of
Bakers field,
SECT I ON 2,
Any person violariDgE any of the provisions o.f this ordinance.
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction therefor shall
be punishable by a fine not exceeding Three Hundred Dollars or by
imprisonment in the County Jail of the County of Kern not more than
ninety days or by both such fine and imprisonment,

adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the 22nd day of
March, 1920, by the following vote:
