BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That' section 7 of Ord. insnce No. 55 New series, entitled
"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND IMPOSING MUNICIPAL LICENSES; PRESC~NG

SECTION 7.
It shall be mlawful for ~y person, firm'or corporation,
whether as principal or ~ent, o~er or employe, to co~ence, e~e,
in, trmsact or carry on, within the City of B~ersfieId., ~y business
trade, calli~ profession or occupation upon which a license~fee is
imposed by the provisions of this ordin~ce, or ~y ~en~ent thereto,
without first paying such license fee and procuri~ a license there-
for as hereinafter provided. Such license when issued shall author-
ize the party obtaini~ sine to tr~sact the b~siness, trade, calli~,
profession or occupation described therein, in a particular locality
within the City of B~ersfield, desi~ated in said license, ~d for th
tern stated therein. Separate licenses must be obtained for each
establis~ent or place of business, or brmch thereof, except s~ch
establis~ents or places of business as pay a lic~se fee based upon
schedule contained in section 46 of this ordinance,
I HEREBY CERTIFf that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and. adopted. by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on 'the ~
