SECTION 1.

SECTION 5,
If either the City Health .Officer or any of his deputies

or 'suspected of being afflicted with rabies., or has been exposed. to
the infection of rabies, such officer shall either kill, or take up
and separately confine and keep so confined, such dog, and shall make

SECTION 6.
Whenever the owner or person having the custody or poss-
ession of ~y dog,· shall observe or learn that such dog has shovn~
symptoms of rabies~' or has s~cted in a manner Which would lead. a
reasonable ms~q to suspect ths. t it might have r.abies, such owner or
person havir~X the 'custody or possession of such dog shall immediately'
confine such dog and notify the Health Officer, who ·shall thereupon
proceed ~n the disposition of such dog .under the provisions of Section
5. of this 0rdinsnce.
SECTION 7.
Whenever it is shown. that shy dog has bitten my person,
