BE lit ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF B~/fRRSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1,
The figures in the column marked "GEADE" are elevation in
feet and nux~tredtns of a foot above the datum plane as establimed
by an ordinance of the said City of Bakersfield, entitled "AN
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A DATUM PLAI~E FOR THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,"
wnicn said ordinance is numbered 18, and said figures rel~resent the
elevation of the points nereinafter designated,
SECTION 2.
The grades for all points between tnose nereinafter fixed
shall be in tne straight line joinir6 the adjacent grades, as
nereinafter fixed.
SECTION 3'-

of this Ordinance iS for any reason held to be unconstitutional or
invalid, such decision shall not affect the remainirg portions of
this Ordinance. The City Council nereby declares tnat it would
nave passed· tnis'0rdinance and each section and' sub-section tnereo.f'
irrespective of the fact that any one o2 more Of the sections, sub'-
sections, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared unconstitutional
or invalid.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the fore~oir~ Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield on the
