AN ORDINANCE REPE~LING SECTION 16 OF
ORDINANCE NO. ~. NEW SERIES OF THE
CITY 0F BAKERSFIELD, CALI F0 RNIA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF 'iHE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That section 16 of Ordinance No. 64 New Series entitled
"An ordinance enforcing the provisions of Article Eighteen of the
Constitution of the United States prohibiting the manufacture,
sale, storage, serving, gift, transportation, importation, or
exportation o~intoxicating liquors for beverage purposes; ~egulating
all other traffic in such liquors; creating a fund for the enforce-
ment thereof; and providing penalties for violation hereof," of
the city of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby expressly'repealed.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the
~ day of December, 1922, by the following vote~
Ayes: Carlisle, Griltith, Hare, Hougham, Nelson, Robinson, Smith.
