AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBDIVISION B! OF SECTION
35 OF ORDINANCE N0.92 NEW SERIES ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE REGULATING AND IMPOSING MUNICIPAL
LICENSES; PRESCRIBING HOW AND BY ~HOM LICENSES
SHALL BE OBTAINED; MAKING THE VIOLATION HEREOF
A MISD~IEANOR AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY THEREFOR."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
That Subdivision B of Section. S3 of Ordinance No. 92
New Series.~ entitled "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND IMPOSING MUNICIPAL
LICENSES; PRESCRIBING HOW AND BY "~HOM LICENSES SHAI~. BE OBTAINED;
MAKING THE VIOLATION HEREOF A MISDEMEANOR AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY
THEREFOR," be and the same is hereby mended to read as follows:
SECTION SS.
(b) For conducting, carrying on or maintaining the busi-'
ness of Junk dealer or junk collector, the sum of Twenty Five Dollars
($25.00) per quarter, and for e~ vehicle for collecting Junk, the
sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per quarter additional.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the
/~G~ dart of October, 1922 by the following vote:
