AN ORDINANCE NANING 21ST STREET
BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIEL1),. as follows:
That the hereinafter described property be and the
same is hereby named and shall be known and designated as 21st
Street.
Beginming at a point in the southerly line of
21st Street ~vhere the same intersec~ts the easterly boundary line of
the Kern Island Canal, as said canal is shown and designated on
that certain map entitled "Sales Map of the Kern County .Land
Company showing Subdivisions of its Additions to the City of
Bakersfield, Kern County, California," and which said map was
filed in the office of the County Record'er of said Kern County
Ap~il 19th:, 1904; and running thence northeasterly along the
easterly boundary line of Kern Island Canal to its intersec'tion
with the northerly line of 21st Street; thence westerly along
said northerly line of 21st Street (if extended.) to the
westerly line of R Street; thenc'e southerly along the westerly
li,ne of R Street to the southerly line of 21st Street; thence
easterly along said southerly line of 21st ~tr'eet (if extended)
to the point of beginning. All, in the City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California.
I. HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on
the
