AN ORDINANCE N~,~ING PORTIONS OF
4th and 8th STREETS AND CALIFOR-
NIA AVENUE IN THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD· CALIFORNIA.
SECTION 1.
BE IT ORDAiNED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, as follows:
That the following described property be and the
same is hereby named and sh~l be known and designated as
"4th STREET" said property being more particularly described

as follows:
Beginning at a point in the northerly line
of 4th Street where the same is intersected by the
easterly line of P Street and running thence easterly
on a direct extension of said northerly line of 4th
Street to the westerly line of Union Avenue; thence
southerly alon~ the westerly line of Union Avenue 82.8
feet; thence westerly on a line 82.5 feet southerly
from and parallel with the course first described herein
to the easterly line of P Street; thence northerly
along the easterly line of P Street 82.5 feet to the
point of beginning.

same'is hereby named and shall be known. and designated as
"Sth STREET" said property being more particularly described

Beginning at a point in the northerly line Of
California Avenue ~ere the same is intersected by the
easterly line of Block 384 City of Bakersfield and
running thence easterly on a direct extension of said
· northerly line of California Avenue to the westerly
line of Union A~enue; thence southerly along the west-
erly line of Union Avenue 118.8 feet; thence westerly
on a line 118.5 feet southerly from and parallel with
the course first described herein to the easterly line
of Lowell Add tion; thence northerly on a·strai~ht line
to the point of beginning.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance,
was passed and. ado. pt.ed by the CoUncil of the City of Bakersfield,
