AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE OFFICES OF
1st ASSISTANT ~IRE CHIEF AND FIRE ~
MARSHAL and 2rid ASSISTAN,T, 'F~.IR~.E~CHIEF
AND DRILL--MASTER OF THE FIRE· .DEPART-
MENT OF .THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT' ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF'THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as followS:
SECTION 1.

· . There'is hereby created the office of 1st Assistant
Fire ·Chief :and Fire Marshal of the ·Fire Department of the City

Fire·Chief and Drill Master, of.the Fire Department of the City of

be appointed by the Fire Chief and shall h01d office at the pleasure
of .th~ Fire Chief and shall receive s~ch compensation as shall b e
fixed by the City 0Ouncil.
SECTION 4.-
