AN ORDINANCE LEVYING UPON THE
ASSESSED VALUATION OF THE TAXABLE
PROPERTY.IN THE CITY 0F BAKERSFIELD;
J A RATE 0FTAXATION UPON EACH HUNDRED
DOLLA~S OF VALUATION FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING July 1st, 1924, and
ending June 30th, 1925.
BE IT ORDAiNED BY THE COUNCIL OF *HE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows: -
SECTION ~-'
That there is hereby levied a tax of ninety-nine i.99)
cents on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of the assessed
valuation of all taxable property in the City of Bakersfield,

County of Kern, State of California for municipal expenses of the
Municipal Government of said City (excepting as hereinafter mentioned)
during the fiscal year beginning with the first day of July, 1924,
.... and ending with the thirtieth day of June, 192~.
SECTION 2.
That there is hereby levied a tax of seventeen and one-
half=.~(~lVS) cents on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the
assessed valuation of all taxable property within the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, for Parks and
PlaygrOunds.
SECTION 3.
That there is h~reby levied a tax of three (.03) cents
on each one hundred dollars ($!00.00), of the assessed valuation
of all taxable property within the =.0ity of Bs/~ersfield, County
of Kern, state~.~f California, for interest and s-inking fund on
Str.~provem. ent Bonds issued under the Improvement BOnd Act
of 1~18.

1912 Library Bonds.
That there is hereby levied a tax of three (.03) cents
on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of the assessed valuation
of all taxable property within the City of Bakersfield which was
known and designated as the City of Bakersfield prior to the
consolidation of said City and the. Town'of Kern, for interest
and sinking fund on Sewer Bond No. One.
