AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART IV, SECTION 54,.
PARAGRAPH 14 OF ORDINANCE NO. 152 NEW SERIES,
OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the immediate pa~eservation of the public health,
Rroperty and safety and providing for the daily operation of the
municipal Building Department, requires the passage of this ordinance;
NOW THEREFOE, be it ordained by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Part IV, Section 54; Paragraph 14 of Ordinance No.
152 New Series, being the Building Ordinance, be and the same is
· hereby amended to. read as follows:
SECTION· 54. Paragraph 14. No frame building shall be moved from
without to within the fire limits nor shall the locations be changed
'within the fire limits, except Upon written permit first had and
obtained from the City Council.
SECTION 2.
This ~rdinance is designated fur the immediate preserva-
tion of the public health, property and safety and providing for the
daily operation of the municipal Building Department, and is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and'ioshall be in. full force and'
effect immediately upon its passage.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield"on the ~g3~b
