AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
No. llO, NE~ SERIES, SECTION 6,
OF THE CITY 0F BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That· Section 6 of Ordinance No. 110, New Series
of the City of Bakersfield, entitled "An 'Ordinance establishing a
City Planning Commission and providing certain rules and.'regula-
tions for the government and maintenance of such City Plan~ing
Commission within the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of
California, and prescribing their pwna~ andsduties and providing
for the levy and' collection· of an annual tax to defray the lawful
expenses incurred by such Planning CommiSSionJ~, be· and the same·~·.i·~
hereby amended to read as follows: ..~.-
SECTION 6.
PUBLIC BUILDINGS, PLAYGROUNDS, ETC.
Any officer or department whose duty it is to
prepare ordinances and resolutions·relating to the location of any
public' building of the .City, or location, extension, widening, en-
largement, o~namem~tation~ or parking of any street, ·boulevard, alley,
· · public
parkway,.park, playground, or other/groUnds or to' the location of any
street, or other alteration of the City plan of streets and highways,
or the location of any bridge, tunnel, or subway, or Of any sur-
face, underground or elevated railway or public utility, or ordinance
relating to housing, building codes or zones, may, if deemed advisable,
prior to the. submission of the proper board or .officer of 'the City
-of Bakersfield, Of the'ordinance or resolution required to be
adopte~-·bef.ore such·proceedings are instituted,· give notice to the
commission of the pendency be~0re the officer or department of pro-
ceedings with reference to any of the abbve matters.
HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Counoil of the City· of Baker!~fiald, on
