ORDINANCE NUMBER 289, NEW SER~IES OF THE
CITY OF BAKErSFIELD. ENTITLED "AN ORDIN-
ANCE ALTERING THE FORMER BOUNDAEIES OF
WARD NUMBER SEVEN OF THE CITY OF BAKEkSFIELD
SO AS TO INCLUDE THE N~? INHABITED ANNEXED
TERRITORY WITHIN THE BOUh~ARIES 0F WERD N~BER
SEVEN OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.",
ADOPTED ON THE 14th DAY 0F JUNE, 1928.
BE IT RESOLVED that the boundaries of Ward No. V of
the City of Bakersfield, shall be and are hereby described
as ~ollows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Union
Avenue where the same is intersected by the center
line of Truxton Avenue, running thence.southerly
along the center line of Union Avenue to the souther-
ly line of Brundage Lane, thence westerly along
the southerly line of Brundage Lane to the center
line of Chester Avenue~ thence northerly along the
center line of Chester Avenue to its intersection
with the center line of Trueton Avenue, thence east-
erly along the center line of Truxton Avenue to the
point of beginning.
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
