BE IT ORDAINED ~f6!~'UNOIL OF THE CITY OF
B~A~..ERSFIELD, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Sectimn'6 of Ordinance No, 286, New Series, of
the City of Bakersfield, passed· and adopted by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield on 28th day, of February, 1927, be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 6.
No license shall be issued by the License Collector
of the City of Bakersfield to any person, firm, association or
corporation engaged in maintaining or Conducting any of the
attractions as mentioned in this ordinance, without first securing
a written permit as provided for herein; and further provided that
no license or permit shall be issued to any person, firm, associa-
tion or corporation for any exhibition of a carvan, menagerie or
other collection of.animals, circus or acrobatic performances, for
pay, to be held between the 15th day of AuguSt and the 15th day of
October of each'~nd every year.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on
the /~ day of May, 192V, by the following vote:
