IN,~NCES INCONSISTENT EREWIE," be and the same are hereby mended
to read as follows: "'.'
SECTION 29. Parking Time Limited in Specified Places. The Operator
of a vehicle shall not park such vehicle for longer than one (1) hour
within any business district between the hours of nine (9) A. M. and
five ·(5) P. M. of any day except Sunday and subject to the especial
restrictions imposed by Sections 2V and 28.
Signs shall be erected and maintained not more·than one
hundred fifty (150) feet apart in each block designating the provi-
sions. of this section.
SECTION 30. Early Morning Parking Limited. It shall be unlawful
for the operator of any vehicle to park said vehicle on any street
or alley· for a period of time longer than one (1) hour between the
hours of two (2)'A. M. and four (4) A.-M. of any day.
SECTION 2. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 292, New Series-,. be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 27 (a).
1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of any' vehiCl. e to

3. It shall be unlawful for the operator of'any vehicle
to operate any vehicle in alleys in the City of Bakersfield running
easterly and westerly unless in an easterly direction, and in alleys
running northerly and southerly unless in a northerly direction. Such
direction of traffic shall be indicated and designated by signs main-
rained upon said alleys.
SECTION 3' That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
with or inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance be and
the same are hereby expressly repealed.
