AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
N0. 260, NEW SERIES, SECTIONS 29 .... ;7['
AND 30, AND ALSO AMENDING 0RDIN-
ANCE N0. 292, SECTION 1.'
BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFi~LD,

as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Sections 29 and 30 of Ordinance No. 280, New Series of
the City of Bakersfield, entitled "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TRAFFIC
UPON PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CIT~ OF BAKERSFIELD AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH," be and ~e same are hereby amend-
ed to read as follows: '..'..~"
Section 29. Parking Time Limited in Specified Places.
The Operator of a vehicle shall not park such vehicle
for longer than one (1) hour within any business district between
the hours of nine (9) A. M. and five (5) P. M. of any day except
Sunday and subject to the especial restrictions imposedby Sections
2V .and 28.
Signs shall be erected and maintained' not more than one
hundred fifty (150) feet apart in each block designating 'the provi-
sions of this section. · .... ""
Section 30. Early Morning Parking Limited.
It shall be unlawful for the operator'of any vehicle to
park said vehicle on any street or alley for a period of time longer
than one (1) hour between the hours of two (2) A. M. and four (4)
A. M. of any day.
SECTION 2.
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 292, New S&ries, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows=

(5) On the north side of alleys running easterly and west-
erly and on the west side of alleys running northerly and southerly
