AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 291, NEW SERIES
A)~D SECTION SIX TPI~.REOF, OF THE CITY OF BA~IELD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAERSFIELD, as
SECTION 1. ,
That Section 6 of Ordinance No. 291, New Series,· of the City of
Bakersfield, passed and adopted by the Council of theLCity of
Bakersfield on the 16th day of May, 1927, be and is here...~.' ·amended
to read as follows:
SECTION 6
No license shall be issued by the License Collector of the Cit.v
of Bakersfield to any person, firm, association or corporation
engaged in maintaining or conducting any of the attractions as
mentioned in this ordinance, without first securing a written
permit as provided for herein; and further provided that no
license or permit shall be issued to any person, firm, association
or corporation for any exhibition of a caravan, menagerie or
other collection of animals, circus or acrobatic performan6es,
for pay, to be held between the 15tb day of August, and 'the
~-/~ day of ~, of each and every year.
