CITY OF BAKERSFIELD: A RATE OF TAXATION

BE IT 0RDA~.IED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That there is hereby levied a tax of one ($1.00) dol-
lar on etch one hundred($100.O0) dollars of the assessed valuation
of all taxable property in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of California, for municipal expenses of the Municipal Gov-
ernment of said City (excepting as hereinafter mentioned) during
the fiscal year beginning with the first day of July, 1929, and
ending with the thirtieth day of June, 1930.

That there is hereby levied a tax of three and one-half ($.035)
cents on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessed valua-
tion of all taxable property within the boundaries of the City o~
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, as said bounda-
ries were fixed and determined, on the 22nd day of March, 1923,
for interest and sinking fund on 1912 Sewer Bonds.
SECTION 4.
That there is hereby levied a tax of two and one-half ($.025) cents
on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessed valuation of
all taxable property within the boundaries of the City of Bakers-
field, County of Kern, State of California, as said boundaries were
fixed and determined, on the 22nd day of March, 1923, for interest
and sinking fund on the 1912 City Hall Bonds.
SECTION 8.
. That there is hereby levied a tax of one ($.01) cent

field, Comty of Kern, State of California, as said boundaries
were fixed and detennined, on the 22nd day of March, 1923, for in-
terest and sinking fund on the 191~- Fire Department Bonds·
SECTION 8.
That there is hereby levied a tax of one-half ($.005) a cent on
each one hundred($100.O0) dollars of the assessed valuation of all
taxable property within the boundaries of the City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, as said boundaries were fixed
and determined, on the 22nd day of March, 19~-3, for interest and
sinking fund on the 191~ Library Bonds.
SECTION V.
That there is hereby levied a tax of three ($·03)
cents on each one hundred($100.O0) dollars of the assessed valuation
of all taxable property within the City of Bakersfield, which was
known and designated as the City of Bakersfield, prior to the con-
solidation of said City and the Town of Kern, for interest and sink-
ing fund on Sewer Bond Number One.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the
day of August, 1929, by the following vote:
