AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TREASURER
· TO DEPOSIT CITY FUNDS IN BANKS IN AC-
CORDANCE WITH THE STATE LAW.
BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That the City Treasurer be and he is hereby authorized
to deposit the City's funds in banks as provided in an act of the
Legislature entitled: "An act to authorize and control.. the
deposit in banks of money belonging to or in the custody of any
county, city and county, city, toyre, municipality or other poli-
tical subdivision within this state, and to repeal all acts or
parts of acts in conflict wi~h this act", approved May 24, 1927,
and to do all acts necessary thereto.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the ~~ay
