HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 3500EDINANCE N0.3~d) NEW SERIES AN OROINA~CE LEVYING UPON THE ASSESSED VAL- UATION OF THE TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD: A RATE OF TAXATION UPON EACH ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS OF V~~LUATION FOR '-~E FIS- CAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY l, 1930, AND E~0ING JUNE 30, 1931. BE IT ORDAINED BY ~_E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKEEBFIELD, as follows: SECTION 1. That there is hereby levied a tax of one ($1.00) dollar on each one hundred (iilO0.00) dollars of the assessed valuation of all taxable property in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern State of California, for municipal expenses of the Municipal' Government of said City (excepting as hereinafter mentioned) dur- ing the fiscal year beginning the first day of July, 1930, and ending witch the thirtieth day of June, 1931. SECTION 2. That there is hereby levied a tax of nine ($.09) cents on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, for Parks and Playgrounds. SECTION 3. That there is hereby levied a tax of three ($.03) cents on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the boundaries of the City of Bakers- field, County of Kern, State of California, as s ~id boundaries were fixed and determined, on the 22nd day of March, 192~, for interest and sinking fund on 1912 Sewer Bonds. SECTION 4. That there is hereby levied a tax of two ($.02) cents on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessed vs. luation of all taxable property within the boundaries of the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, as said boundaries w. ere fixed and determined, on the 22nd day of March, 1923, for interest and sinking fund on the 1912 City Hall Bonds.' SECTION 5. That there is hereby levied s tax of one ($.O1) cent on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the boundaries of the City of Bak- ersfield, County of Kern, State of California, as said boundaries were fixed and determined, on the 22nd day of March, 1923, for interest and sinking fund on the 1912 Fire Department Bonds. SECTION 8. That there is hereby levied a tax of one ($.01) cent on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the City of Bakersfield, which was known and designated as the City of Bakersfield, prior to the con- solidation of said Ci.ty and the To~m of Kern, for interest and sinking fund on Sewer Bond Number One. ..... o0o .....
