BAYERSFIEID, AND PROVIDING A
PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THE.~EOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY I~E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAEEhSFIF, LD,
ss follows:
SEC TI ON 1.
It shall be unlawful for any persons. to deliver, or
announce or advertise that he will deliver a public address,
sermon, talk, oration or speech in any of the public parks,
City Hall grounds, or public streets within the City of Bakers-
field, without having procured 8. written permit so to do from
the Manager of the City of Bakersfield.
SECTION
Any person violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof shall be punished by 8 fine not to exceed
three hundred ($300.00) do]].srs or by imprisonment in the
County Jail not exceeding ninety (90) days or by both such
fine and imprisonment.
