NO. 346 NEW SERIES, BY ADIENG THERETO THEEE-
SUBDIVISIONS TO BE KNOWN AS SUBDIVISIONS 41,
42 AND 43.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 16 of Ordinance No. 346 New Series of the
City of Bakersfield, be mended by adding thereto thre~ sub-
divisions, to be known as Subdivisions 41, 4~. and 43, said
subdivisions to read as follows:
41'. Steam Laundry -
Shall be deemed to be a laundry using a water tube or
fire tube boiler for heating water for use therein. All other
laundries shall be deemed to be hand laundries.
42. Towel and/or Linen Supply.
Shall be deemed to mean the business of washing, ironing,
exchanging, renting and/or furnishing towels or other linen for
c orepens a ti on.
43. Dry Cleaning -
Shall be deemed to mean the process of cleaning, dyeing,
or renovating clothes, wearing apparel, feathers, or any fabric,
textile or hats, by means of immersion and agitation in any clean-
ing medium and/or solvent not ordinarly used in regular steam
laundry cleaning.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a
regular meeting thereof, held on the g'~ day of ~ ,
