AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (K) OF
SUBDIVISION 33 OF SECTION 17 OF ORDIN-
ANCE NO. 348 NEW SERIES OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Paragraph (k) of Subdivision 33 of Section 1V of
Ordinance No. 348 New Series, entitled ."AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
AND IMPOSING MUNICIPAL LICENSES; DESCRIBING HOW AND BY WHOM LIC-
ENSES AND PERMITS SHALL BE' OBTAINED; MAKING A VIOLATION HEREOF A
MISDEMEANOR AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY THEREFOR, AND REPEALING
ORDINANCES NOS. 190, 192, 213, 253, 246, 249, 250, 264, 288, 290,
301 AND 316 NEW SERIES, AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH" be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
(Section
(k) For each amusement game, or test of skill, strength,
physical endurance or capacity of any kind whatsoever, not other-
wise provided for in this ordinance, and for participation in
which a fee is charged, the sum of ($10.00) ten dollars per month.
No license fee shall be issued for less than one month. Provided,
however, that when an amusement game or game of skill, strength,
or physical endursnce is a small, portable, complete unit, snd
same is maintained and conducted in conjunction with an estab-
lished place of business paying a license for same to the City
of Bakersfield, the license fee shall be ($10.00) ten dollars
per quarter for each and every game or unit. No license shall be
issued for less than one quarter.
SECTION
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby expressly repealed.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
on the//x~bday of April, 1932, by the following vote:
